Rishabh Pant protest the umpire's decision in the game against RR.

Rishabh Pant and Jos Buttler | BCCI/IPLDelhi Capitals (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant and Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Jos Buttler were engaged in a heated argument during the 34th match of IPL 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Friday (April 22).

The game was marred by a controversy over on-field umpires' decision to not give a no-ball for a waist-high full-toss.

It all happened in the final over when DC needed 36 off 6 balls and Rovman Powell smashed three consecutive sixes off Obed McCoy, making the equation 18 off the last three deliveries.

The third delivery was a full-toss and the DC players, support staff members felt it was a waist high no-ball and they protested for it. In fact, Pant gestured his batters back to leave the pitch and also sent assistant coach Pravin Amre to have a word with the on-field umpires.
