DC outplayed PBKS in all departments | BCCI/IPLDelhi Capitals (DC) got back to winning ways after three successive defeats in the ongoing IPL as they thrashed Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 9 wickets at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on Wednesday (April 20).

Asked to bat first, PBKS were bowled out for a paltry 115 in 20 overs. It was a listless batting performance from the Punjab-based franchise as no batter managed to touch the 40-run mark. Jitesh Sharma was the top scorer with 23-ball 32.

For the Capitals, Akshar Patel (2-10), Khaleel Ahmed (2-21), Lalit Yadav (2-11) and Kuldeep Yadav (2-24) bowled economically and claimed two wickets each.

After Shaw’s wicket, Sarfaraz Khan (12 not out) joined Warner in the middle and the pair took Delhi Capitals over the line without any more hiccups.
