The 24th match of the IPL 2022 will see Rajasthan Royals (RR) taking on Gujarat Titans (GT) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on April 14, 2022. RR is currently placed at the top spot in the IPL 15 points table, while GT is placed at the 5th spot.
Rajasthan Royals have been doing amazingly well while batting first and defending totals in a tournament that has seen teams batting second after winning the toss. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans were handed their first loss in the IPL 2022 by SRH in their last match and they would be nursing those wounds.

Keeping this in mind, here is the Team COC predicted playing XIs for the RR v GT match in IPL 2022.
RAJASTHAN ROYALS
The Rajasthan Royals team is pretty much settled with their XI. Jos Buttler has been doing a very good job at the top and while Padikkal is still finding his feet, he is expected to do well in his preferred position.
Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer have done the bulk of big-hitting for RR, while Rassie van der Dussen might get a couple of matches to settle in at the no.4 spot. Riyan Parag has done well in the field but is yet to get some more chances with the bat while being given the finishing job.

The spin twins Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin have been a thorn in other batter’s necks and have dictated the middle overs. Trent Boult has found his rhythm and got the ball to swing and has received great help from Prasidh Krishna and newbie Kuldeep Sen, who impressed a lot with his speed.
GUJARAT TITANS
Gujarat Titans may have some self-doubt when it comes to their playing XI, especially after losing by 8 wickets to Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous match.
While Shubman Gill has done very well with the bat, Matthew Wade has struggled to get runs at the top, barring in the last match. GT might bring in either Wriddhiman Saha or Rahmanullah Gurbaz for Wade, as both can open the innings and keep wickets well.
Sai Sudharshan showed great skills for someone so young, while Hardik Pandya is yet to show his old big-hitting days once more. However, him bowling his 4 overs regularly is welcome news for India selectors. David Miller and Abhinav Manohar have done decently well in the opportunities they have gotten so far.
Meanwhile, Rahul Tewatia has established himself as one of the best finishers in IPL this season.
The plus point for GT has been their bowling especially Rashid Khan, Mohammad Shami, and Lockie Ferguson. They have received decent support from the young Darshan Nalkande as well, who has shown good speed and intent to get better.
