Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Wednesday (March 23) unveiled their jersey with a new sponsor just ahead of their opening match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 26.
The four-time champions became the last franchise to launch their jersey for the upcoming IPL 2022 season.
Taking to Instagram, CSK shared a video, highlighting different parts of their jersey with the caption: “Unveiling with Yellove! Here’s at our new threads in partnership with @tvseurogrip !”
The shade of the new kit is still the same i.e. yellow and the shoulder part features the camouflage design.
Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will begin their IPL 2022 campaign in the tournament opener against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium on March 26.
During the mega-auction last month, CSK roped in some prominent names like Dwayne Bravo, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa, Deepak Chahar, Shivam Dube, and Chris Jordan.
The legendary MS Dhoni will continue to lead the franchise, which had retained him ahead of the auction along with three other players – Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
