IPL 2022: WATCH - "Aur thode 4-5 light laga dete," Ishan Kishan cracks a hilarious line during MI's photoshoot

Mumbai Indians' (MI) wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan on Monday (21st March) was at his hilarious best during the team’s photoshoot ahead of the IPL 2022. 

The stage is all set for the IPL 15. The tournament will kick-start from 26th March in Maharashtra with a summit clash set to take place on 29th May. The league will see the addition of two new teams as well and all the league matches will be played in Maharashtra across four venues. 

Almost every player has joined his respective franchise and has started his preparations for the upcoming tournament. Coming to Mumbai Indians, all the core players including the likes of skipper Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Ishan Kishan, and Jasprit Bumrah have joined the squad.

They are putting in hard yards in their net session and also making sure that they keep the atmosphere light and have some fun. MI posted the video of their players during the photo and advertisement shoot.

The video starts with leg-spinner Mayank Markande calling Ishan Kishan the biggest prankster of the team. Kishan was at his hilarious best and as soon as he came on the screen he started saying, "Let's start, guys. Let's make it quick, please. I don't have time. I have to go to one more place." 

If this was not enough, he then took a jibe at flashlights, saying that “Aur thode 4-5 light laga dete munh pe (Why not flash a few more lights at my face)." He then self praised himself by saying that he has a bright face and will shine even if there are no lights. 

Skipper Rohit Sharma was also spotted in joyous mood during the photoshoot. On the other hand, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah and Dewald Brevis were seen heading towards the nets after completing their quarantine.

Mumbai Indians will kick-start their IPL 2022 campaign against Delhi Capitals. The clash will take place on March 27 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
