Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma has begun his preparations for the upcoming I din Premier League (IPL) 2022. The tournament will kick-start from 26th March in Maharashtra with a summit clash set to take place on 29th May.
Rohit joined MI’s bio-bubble earlier his week after the conclusion of the Test series against Sri Lanka. The Indian skipper completed his three-day isolation period on Saturday (18th March) and kick-started his practice.

MI posted the video on their Twitter account, in which Rohit can be seen leaving his hotel room and boarding the bus for the practice sessions. Along with him, Ishan Kishan, who was acquired by the franchise for INR 15.25 crore, also joined the rest of the squad for preparations and was seen going into the bus for net sessions.

The franchise then shared a glimpse of Rohit’s net session. The Mumbai Indians skipper seemed to be in good touch with the bat and can be seen smashing the ball all over the park.

Mumbai Indians will kick-start their IPL 2022 campaign against Delhi Capitals (DC). The clash will take place on March 27 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
