Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Friday (March 18) unveiled their new jersey for the 2022 edition of Indian Premier League.

Taking to Twitter, KKR shared a video, highlighting different parts of their latest jersey with the caption: “KKR 2022 Official Jersey Reveal. We know you’ve all been waiting for it. Our threads for #IPL2022 is here”

While the shades of the new kit are still the same i.e. purple and gold, the lower half of the shirt has a different design.

It seems that the KKR’s new skipper Shreyas Iyer has given a voiceover for the promotional video of the jersey.

The IPL 2022 season is all set to get underway on March 26. A total of 70 league matches will be played across four international standard venues in Mumbai and Pune. The venue for the playoff matches will be decided later.

Knight Riders are due to open their campaign against defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the tournament opener at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
