Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma and pacer Jasprit Bumrah joined the team’s bio-bubble ahead of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
The duo arrived just hours after Team India completed a 2-0 Test series win over Sri Lanka in Bangalore on Monday (March 14).
Taking to Instagram, the Mumbai-based franchise shared a video, announcing Rohit and Bumrah’s arrival.
In the video, the MI captain can be seen accompanied by his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira.
Both Rohit and Bumrah were retained by the Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2022 mega-auction. The pair has played a key role in MI’s record five IPL title wins over the years.
The IPL 2022 season is due to get underway on March 26 with the CSK-KKR clash, while the Mumbai Indians will open their campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 27 at Brabourne Stadium.
