All the 10 Franchises were asked to submit a list of players for the second round of accelerated auction on Day 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) mega-auction. New Zealand's Tim Seifert and Glenn Phillips found a bidder in the second round. 

Arjun Tendulkar was sold to Mumbai Indians (MI) for INR 30 Lakh. They made the opening bid at the base price of INR 20 Lakh. Out of nowhere, Gujarat Titans joined the bid but let it go at the last moment just for laughs. 

There was no contest for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) when they bid for Tim Southee at INR 1.5 crore.
