Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has often expressed his desire to bat up in the batting order. He has improved a lot as a batter and CSK have used his batting ability very well in the previous seasons.
On Saturday (January 29), Jadeja dropped a sarcastic comment on Star Sports Tamil's tweet after finding his name at number 8th spot. The IPL's official broadcasters were asking fans to form a potential CSK XI for the upcoming season.

They posted a picture of the playing XI, filling the spots of the retained players – Ruturaj Gaikwad at 1, Moeen Ali at 3, MS Dhoni at 7, and Jadeja at 8.
It seems like Jadeja didn't like his name too low in the order and posted a hilarious reply. He sarcastically wrote that number 8 is too early for him. “No 8 too early for me ! Put me @ 11," he wrote with laughing emojis.
Jadeja was retained for INR 16 crore, while CSK retained Dhoni for INR 12 crore. Ali was retained for INR 8 crore, and Gaikwad bagged INR 6 crore.
