IPL 2022: 5 players from recent Vijay Hazare Trophy that might be on IPL franchises' wish list

The IPL 2022 mega auction is expected to take place in February.

Chetan Sakariya | TwitterChetan Sakariya was the surprise package from the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2021, as the left-arm pacer from Saurashtra picked 14 wickets in 14 matches at an economy of 8.19 and best bowling of 3/31.

He also had a good outing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 for Saurashtra, as he took 13 wickets in 7 matches with a best of 5/62 at an economy of 4.10.

Everyone was awed by his ability to swing the new ball and then come back in the death to bowl pinpoint yorkers and had all the variations needed to become successful in white-ball format. His performance in IPL 2021, also led to him making his India debut in Sri Lanka, picking 2 wickets in his debut ODI and 1 wicket in 2 T20Is he played against the same opposition.

Sakariya gives the franchises the option of a left-arm pacer who can bowl extremely well in death overs and can swing the new ball at the start.
