Faf du Plessis showed great commitment towards his team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday (September 26). He continued fielding for CSK despite sustaining an injury on his left knee which was visibly bleeding.
A bloodstain was spotted on his track pant which reminded fans of ex-CSK batter Shane Watson. Watson had continued to bat for CSK even with an injury during the IPL 2019 final which they had lost eventually.
"Watta Faf Sync-gams #WhistlePodu #Yellove," wrote the official Twitter account of CSK while posting a picture of Du Plessis and Watson. "Kneenga Vera Level," they wrote inside the picture.

Du Plessis went on to score 43 runs when CSK came out to chase 172 runs for their 8th win in the tournament. He posted a stand of 74 runs with opening partner Ruturaj Gaikwad.
CSK chased down the target on the last ball of the innings and won the match by 2 wickets after Ravindra Jadeja played a cameo of 8-ball 22 runs. They secured the top position on the points table after the win.
Twitterati applauded the dedication of the South African cricketer for his franchise. Du Plessis is currently the hightest run-getter for CSK this season with 394 runs in 10 innings.
