Rajasthan Royals (RR) have suffered multiple blows before the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). After losing Jofra Archer due to injury, and less possibility of Ben Stokes taking part in the tournament due to mental health break, Jos Buttler will also be unavailable.

Buttler pulled out of the tournament due to personal reasons. The official Twitter account of RR had posted that the English cricketer and his wife are expecting a second child soon.

"Jos Buttler will not be part of the remainder of #IPL2021, as he and Louise are expecting a second child soon. We wish them well, and can't wait for the newest member of the #RoyalsFamily. ????," they had tweeted.

RR also assured fans of a solid performance despite losing key players ahead of the second leg in UAE. They responded to a tweet that highlighted the issues for the franchise.

"No Archer, No Buttler, No Stokes (?) RR might need their Twitter admin to pad up for rest of the IPL," the tweet read. They replied to the tweet with MS Dhoni's picture which says 'Picture abhi baaki hain'.

The Sanju Samson-led side is currently placed at the 5th spot in the points table. They won 3 out of 7 matches before the tournament got suspended. Their second phase begins with a clash against Punjab Kings on September 21.
