Delhi Capitals (DC) opener Prithvi Shaw smashed six fours in the first over of their run chase against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Thursday (April 29). Shaw took on Shivam Mavi and collected 25 runs off his over which also included a wide.
Shaw went on to score 82 runs off just 41 deliveries which ensured Delhi's fifth victory in the tournament. He became only the second player in IPL after teammate Ajinkya Rahane to achieve the feat of hitting six successive fours in an over.
After the win, Mavi was seen messing with Shaw and they both shared a light moment. Both the cricketers were part of the 2018 under-19 World Cup-winning squad.
Mavi was outstanding with the ball against Punjab Kings, but the speedster didn't get to bowl again after the first over against Delhi.
Delhi have now moved to number two spot in the points table with 10 points in 7 matches. They are only second to Chennai Super Kings who have equal points but a better Net Run Rate.
