The 24th match of the IPL 2021 saw Mumbai Indians (MI) clashing with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. MI captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Sanju Samson made 42, Jos Buttler made 41 and Shivam Dube struggled to 35 as RR only managed to make 171/4 in 20 overs. Rahul Chahar was the best bowler for MI with figures of 2/33.
In reply, though RR managed to remove Rohit Sharma for 14, Quinton de Kock and Krunal Pandya ensured that MI reached the total without many casualties. De Kock made 70* in 50 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes, while Krunal made 39 in 26 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes.

In the end, Kieron Pollard made 16* to take MI to win with 7 wickets in hand and 9 balls to spare. Chris Morris picked 2/33 for Rajasthan Royals.
