The 19th match of the IPL 2021 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 25, 2021. CSK won the toss and chose to bat first, going against the grain.
CSK brought in Imran Tahir and Dwayne Bravo for Lungi Ngidi and Moeen Ali. RCB also made two changes as Kane Richardson made way for Dan Christian and Shahbaz Ahmed was left out for Navdeep Saini.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (33) and Faf du Plessis (50) added 74 for the first wicket. Then Suresh Raina (24), and Ambati Rayudu (14) faltered a bit in the middle order. But then Ravindra Jadeja came to the crease and changed the possible final total of around 160, in just the span of one over.
Harshal Patel had a decent game until the fateful 20th over. He has given 14 runs for 3 wickets when he faced up against Jadeja in the last over. Jadeja smacked him for 5 sixes and one four for a total of 37 runs (one no-ball). This became the joint most expensive last over in IPL history.
Before Jadeja, Chris Gayle had smashed Parameswaran for 37 runs, back in IPL 2011 in a game between RCB and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
Jadeja ended up making 62* in 28 balls with 5 sixes and 4 fours and took CSK to a final total of 191/4.
