SRH needs to continue their winning ways if they need to have any chance of qualifying for the playoffs. DC just needs to keep winning matches as they have been and seem to be on course to make it into the final four.

Hence, Team COC presents the Predicted Playing XIs for the SRH v DC match to be played at Chennai.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD (SRH)

Sunrisers Hyderabad had registered their first win in the IPL 2021, beating the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Chennai in their last match. They have finally found some sort of balance in their team especially after Jonny Bairstow was promoted to opening the innings and Kane Williamson got fit to be included in the playing XI.

They also brought in some experience in the middle order in Kedar Jadhav to aid the likes of Abhishek Sharma and Virat Singh, with Vijay Shankar being designated as the finisher. Rashid Khan is their best bowler by far and it will be his responsibility to ensure the likes of Pant, Hetmyer, and Stoinis stay quiet in middle overs.

SRH would like to say goodbye to Chennai with a win | IPL-BCCIBhuvneshwar Kumar might be struggling with his fitness after suffering a niggle, but should be fit enough to play this game. The form of Khaleel Ahmed has been a plus for them and SRH has not named any replacement for T Natarajan yet, who has been ruled out of IPL 2021 due to a knee injury.

Their only concern is the third pacer as both Sandeep Sharma and Siddharth Kaul have been very expensive and SRH needs to choose the least expensive of the two.

DELHI CAPITALS (DC)

Delhi Capitals have been very intelligent in picking their playing XI, especially since they moved from Mumbai to Chennai. They adjusted to the changed conditions very quickly, which saw their batsmen putting a price on their wickets.

IPL 2021: WATCH- Shikhar Dhawan urges COVID-19 survivors to donate their blood plasma

Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have been given the license to go after the bowling from the start, while Steve Smith has been seemingly asked to anchor the innings while batting at a strike rate of around a run a ball or more. Given that he is an excellent player of spin, he is a great asset for DC on the Chennai pitch.

Delhi Capitals have adjusted well to the Chennai pitch | IPL-BCCIRishabh Pant, Lalit Yadav, Shimron Hetmyer, and Marcus Stoinis make up for an intimidating middle order and all of them have been in runs off late, though Stoinis could gain from batting a bit higher in the order.

R Ashwin and Amit Mishra were lethal on the Chennai pitch, with Mishra bowling DC to a victory in their last game. Avesh Khan has been a revelation with the ball for DC this season and has partnered well with Kagiso Rabada.

The match will be an exciting one as one team wants to keep their winning streak going on, while the other team has just won one game and want to get on the success wagon.
