IPL 2021: Kiran More recovers from COVID-19; cleared to rejoin Mumbai Indians (MI) bio-bubble

More had to leave MI bubble after testing positive for COVID-19 on 6 April.

The former India wicket-keeper batsman and current Mumbai Indians’ (MI) talent scout Kiran More had to leave the MI bio bubble after testing positive for COVID-19, but More has now fully recovered and can join his side for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021).

Kiran More has recovered from COVID-19 and has completed medically supervised isolation. More has tested negative in three RT-PCR tests. #Mumbai Indians #MI #OneFamily,” Mumbai Indians said in an official statement.

Our medical team in consultation with BCCI have determined Kiran More fit to rejoin the MI bio-bubble in adherence with BCCI guidelines,” they added.

Due to COVID-19, this IPL 2021 is being played behind closed doors with all the teams staying in their biosecure bubble.

The five-time champions are currently based in Chennai where they have only one match left against KL Rahul’s Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Friday (23 April) and will then be traveling to Delhi for the next leg of the tournament.
