Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 6 wickets in the 13th match of IPL 2021. MI have played four matches and they have batted in all four of them.
DC were chasing 138 at Chepauk and they did it without much trouble. This was the second time they failed to defend their total and skipper Rohit Sharma felt their batsmen failed to utilize the start they got in the powerplay.
"After the start we got, I thought we could have batted well in the middle overs, which we didn't do. We didn't capitalize on the start in the powerplay, which we failed to do again," Rohit told host broadcaster Star Sports.

Mumbai lost five wickets for just 17 runs after being 67/1 in 6.5 overs. Rohit once again got off to a good start and scored 44 (30).
"Credit to Delhi bowlers - they kept the pressure up and kept taking wickets. We knew dew was going to come in.
"We saw in the last few games that it's not that difficult to grip the ball. Dew is not really the factor. You need to play smart cricket to win," he added.
Rohit had to sit out in the second innings because of a 'niggle' during the match. The MI captain confirmed he will be back with full fitness in their upcoming match against Punjab Kings.
For Delhi, it was Amit Mishra who didn't let the big strikers like Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard score. He picked up four wickets for 24 runs and got the Player of the Match award.
