Former Indian cricketer and Punjab Kings (PBKS) batting coach Wasim Jaffer took to his Twitter account and trolled former England skipper Michael Vaughan after he made an early prediction for who will win the IPL 2021.
Ever since India toured Australia in November last year, both Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan have roasted each other on social media.
IPL 2021: Wasim Jaffer says "everyone will see an aggressive KL Rahul" in IPL 14
In the latest incident, former England skipper Michael Vaughan made his prediction for IPL 2021.
The 46-year-old predicted that defending champions Mumbai Indians will lift the title for a third consecutive time. He added that if Rohit Sharma-led side loses their form then Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take the title home.
“Early #IPL2021 prediction ... @mipaltan will win it ... if by some bizarre loss of form then @SunRisers will win it," Micheal Vaughan Tweeted.
Reacting to Vaughan’s tweet, Punjab Kings batting coach Wasim Jaffer was once again at his comical best as he posted a hilarious Indian meme.
The meme showed MI and SRH fans in despair while fans of other franchises excited, suggesting that Vaughan has hexed MI and SRH’s chances with his prediction.
PBKS batting coach Wasim Jaffer will be hoping that Vaughan’s prediction goes wrong as he would want his team to clinch their maiden IPL title. The KL Rahul-led side will play their first match against Rajasthan Royals on 12th April.
