Sreesanth commented below the post of Punjab Kings owner Preity Zinta on Instagram.

Kerala Pacer Sreesanth was left out of the shortlisted players from the IPL 2021 auction. He had registered for the auction but unfortunately couldn't make it to the final list of players to go under the hammer.

Sreesanth is still hopeful of a franchise showing interest to get him into the side ahead of the season. We have even seen players getting into the squad in the middle of the tournament.

Recently, the 38-year-old, who has been working hard for a return to IPL after serving 7-year ban, was seen in the comments of Punjab Kings (earlier Kings XI Punjab) owner Preity Zinta's Instagram post.

Zinta posted a picture after reaching Chennai where the auction is to be held. She wrote, "Landed in Chennai for the IPL auction. Super curious to know, which players would you like to see in the #PunjabKings jersey this year ???? Let me know folks - I’m all ears ???????????? #PBKS #SaddaPunjab #iplauction #iplauction2021 #Ting ❤️".

Sreesanth made three comments on the post. In the first one, he suggested his name to be a part of the Punjab Kings. He clearly wants Punjab to get him on board which was his second comment.

The speedster has played with the franchise in past. He started his IPL journey with them and was a part of the Punjab-based franchise from 2008 to 2010.
