Former Indian cricketer and KXIP batting coach, Wasim Jaffer, trolls RCB fans who asked him to return KL Rahul and Chris Gayle back to Virat Kohli led Royal challengers Bangalore.
With IPL 2021 auctions set to take place next month, all eight franchises have released their comprehensive list of released and retained players. A lot of obvious decisions were taken with respect to retaining and releasing players are now out in the open. The franchises have surprised many fans by the likes of players that they have decided to release.
Kl Rahul-led Kings XI Punjab retained 16 players, which mostly includes the core team, and released 9 players including Glenn Maxwell who was drafted into the side last season for a whopping price of 10.5 crores and is also among the five overseas players who have been released by KXIP.

However Social media is flooded with reactions of fans who have shared their views about the event. Some fans have also been reaching out to franchises and cricketers with several requests.
In one such incident, some of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans asked Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) batting coach Wasim Jaffer to release two big players in KL Rahul and Chris Gayle, who represented RCB before and return them back to the Virat Kohli-led side.
“Sir kl rahul ko wapis rcb me de do plzzzzzzzz,” tweeted one fan.
It loosely translates to "Sir please return KL Rahul back to RCB." Replying to which Wasim Jaffer said “Fir hamare pass kya bachega,” which reads as " What will be left with us then,"
Another fan requested Jaffer to give back Chris Gayle to RCB. “Atleast, give us Gayle,” he tweeted.
Replying to the fan’s request Jaffer responded with one of Gayle’s images in the KXIP jersey.
