The 47th match of the IPL 2020 will see Delhi Capitals (DC) clashing with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Dubai on October 27, 2020. The SRH needs to win all their remaining three matches to have an outside chance of qualifying for the playoffs, while DC is sitting pretty at the second spot in the points table with 14 points and a win here will almost ensure them a playoffs place.
SRH had gotten better of DC in their previous meeting in the IPL 2020, but this time the situation is different with DC dominating the opposition. However, they have lost their last two matches and will look to get back onto winning ways.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD (SRH)
SRH has been marred by faulty selection and inadequate talent on the bench. Though Warner and Bairstow have done their job at the start majority of times, apart from Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson, none of the other middle-order batsmen have supported the top order.
This is also due to the absence of an experienced batter in the middle to guide the young stars like Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma, and Abdul Samad. Out of these three, Garg and Abhishek have impressed, while Samad has looked good in patches.

The inclusion of Jason Holder has given SRH much-needed experience in the lower order, but that could have been achieved by including Mohammad Nabi as well. Rashid Khan has been their strike bowler along with T Natarajan, while Sandeep Sharma and Khaleel Ahmed have performed the supporting roles.
SRH needs to win this match to stay alive in the competition and they might seek an extra bowling hand in Abhishek, in place of Samad for this crucial match.
DELHI CAPITALS (DC)
Delhi Capitals benched Prithvi Shaw for the last match given his poor run of form and asked Ajinkya Rahane to open. However, Rahane was dismissed for a first-ball duck, leaving the problem unsolved for the DC team.
Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, and Marcus Stoinis have done amazingly well for them and have held the batting together, while Hetmyer and Pant have struggled to string together a series of good knocks. They have been helped by Akshar Patel’s late order hitting as well.

In the bowling department, Akshar has combined well with R Ashwin to bowl economically whenever called onto bowl, while Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have blown the opposition batting away with sheer pace. This leaves one spot for an Indian pacer and DC might look to give Mohit Sharma one more chance after Tushar Deshpande’s expensive figures in recent matches.
A win here for DC will take them one step closer to playoffs qualification.
