Chennai Super Kings defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 wickets at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai and registered their fourth win of this season while Bangalore suffered their fourth loss. 

Earlier Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opted to bat first. Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch gave a decent start of 31 runs but the Aussie opener once again failed and got out for 15 runs off Curran bowling and later Devdutt Padikkal too got out for 22 runs.

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers took the score to over 100 runs but both the batsmen couldn't score quick runs. AB de Villiers perished off Chahar bowling for 39 runs off 36 balls and Kohli got out after scoring his fifty and Bangalore could manage only 145/6 in 20 overs. 

In reply, Chennai Super Kings started very well as Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave a flying start. Chris Morris broke this stand by removing Faf du Plessis who scored 25 runs off 13 balls. Gaikwad and Rayudu's 67 runs partnership for the second wicket made the chase and eventually, Chennai chased down the target in the 19th over. For Chennai, Ruturaj Gaikwad played 65* runs knock while Rayudu scored 39 runs.
