Chennai Super Kings (CSK) locked horns against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday, October 25, 2020, in the first match of the doubleheader. RCB won the toss and Virat Kohli chose to bat first.
CSK bowlers kept the pressure on the RCB batting and they could only manage 145/6 in 20 overs with AB de Villiers (39) and Virat Kohli (50) being the highest run-getters. Their 82-run partnership was the reason behind RCB getting a competitive score.
CSK managed to chase down the target in impressive fashion as Faf du Plessis made 25 and Rayudu made 39 runs in supporting roles, while Ruturaj Gaikwad heralded the chase with 65* from 51 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes to his name. CSK won the match by 8 wickets.

Apart from the batsmen, Sam Curran also helped CSK’s cause by picking 3/19 in his 4 overs. Curran has been amazing for CSK so far and he also enjoyed the game apart from his bowling.
