RCB had defeated CSK in their previous IPL 2020 encounter by 37 runs | BCCI/IPLThe 44th match of the IPL 2020 will have Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clashing with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai. CSK is all but out of contention for playoffs, while RCB is placed third on the points table and a win for them will ensure their playoffs qualification.

CSK has not been in the best of form and their dismal performance says for it, while RCB has finally had a tournament where they have dominated thanks to a better bowling department coming through. The match will be interesting to see with RCB looking for an easy win over a demoralized CSK.

Here is the COC Predicted Playing XIs for the RCB v CSK match in Dubai

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE (RCB)

The RCB team has finally found the balance they had been yearning for so long. Virat Kohli and co have always been slammed for having a weal bowling lineup, but with the inclusion of Isuru Udana and Chris Morris, that aspect has been covered.

IPL 2020: "Don't think lot of people believed in RCB", Virat Kohli slams critics after dominating KKR

Also, Mohammed Siraj and Navdeep Saini have both done well, to compliment Yuzvendra Chahal. These all bowlers have made the RCB team quite strong and a threatening prospect as Kolkata Knight Riders found out the other night.

AB de Villiers has been RCB and Virat Kohli's biggest asset in IPL 13 | BCCI/IPLBatting-wise, Kohli, Padikkal, and AB de Villiers have been their strong suit, while Finch has done well in patches, but RCB has persisted with the Australian opener. It may be time for him to come good with a big score. They also have a good chance to take advantage of a down on luck CSK and win the match and breathe easy when it comes to playoff qualifications.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS (CSK)

Well, what can be said about the Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing IPL 2020? The kings have been demolished with the kingdom vanishing. The franchise was pushing its limits with an aging squad and it had to come undone at some point and unfortunately, it happened in this season of IPL.

Things went from bad to worse when Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh pulled out of the tournament and CSK was left trying to find a good combination going. They kept trying on the experienced players like Kedar Jadhav, who just wasn’t in form anymore and it resulted in them going on a losing spree.

IPL 2020: Sam Billings praises "special talent" Sam Curran as all-rounder enjoys dream run with CSK

Sam Curran has done all he can and more for CSK in IPL 13 | BCCI/IPLMS Dhoni’s bat was silent most of the time, and he didn’t help anything by keep pushing himself down the batting order. Their only saving grace in batting was Faf du Plessis and to some extent Ambati Rayudu.

Even in the bowling department, apart from Deepak Chahar, no one shined. However, they did find a new star in Sam Curran, who has done amazingly well with both the bat and the ball in the tournament and is expected to carry on CSK’s legacy.

RCB COC Predicted Playing XI:

Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers (WK), Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Chris Morris, Washington Sundar, Isuru Udana, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj

CSK COC Predicted Playing XI:

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu, N Jagadeesan, MS Dhoni (C&WK), Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Imran Tahir
