Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians (MI) to their fifth consecutive win and overall sixth win in IPL 2020. MI bowlers were impressive with the ball and they contained them under 150.

MI, after restricting KKR at 148/5, got off to a great start in the chase and they lost their first wicket in the 11th over on 94 runs. It was Quinton de Kock's 78* runs which made the chase easy. The southpaw batted till the end and secured an 8-wicket win with 19 balls left.

Virender Sehwag praised Rohit for his leadership and also added changing captain for KKR won't change their fortune. Dinesh Karthik handed over the captaincy to Eoin Morgan a day before the match against Mumbai Indians.

“A cheetah’s speed, a falcon’s gaze, and Rohit’s captaincy are the three things you should never doubt. They can withstand any test. Remember, this is Viru Rao’s true declaration,” Sehwag said in his show ‘Viru Ki Baithak’.

“Change the captain, batsmen, bowlers, fielders ...or your apparels. you cannot change your destiny. And in the last few years whenever KKR has faced MI, KKR couldn’t change what’s written in the stars. Doesn’t matter who the sad captain is- Dinesh Karthik or Eoin Morgan,” he added.
