MI chased down DC's target of 163 with five wickets and two balls to spare.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 53 off 32 balls | Mumbai Indians/TwitterMumbai Indians (MI) faced Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 27th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday (October 11).

Opting to bat first, DC posted 162/4 in 20 overs on the back of Shikhar Dhawan’s unbeaten 52-ball 69 and skipper Shreyas Iyer’s 33-ball 42.

Krunal Pandya was the stand-out bowler for MI, claiming 2 wickets by conceding 26 runs in his four overs. Jasprit Bumrah (0-26) was also economical with the ball.

In reply, the defending champions lost captain Rohit Sharma (5) cheaply. But Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav hit 53-run each to put the team in a commanding position.

After dismissing the duo, DC bowlers created a bit of panic in the MI camp but contributions from Ishan Kishan (28 off 15 balls), Kieron Pollard (11* off 14 balls) and Krunal Pandya (12* off 7 balls) ensured MI’s victory with five wickets and two deliveries to spare.
