Delhi Capitals (DC) bowlers put up a great show with the ball and restricted Rajasthan Royals (RR) on just 138 runs at Sharjah to secure their fifth win in IPL 2020. The venue is seen as a graveyard for bowlers because of the dimension of the ground and avoiding boundaries is not easy.
But RR batsmen fell 46 runs short of the target while chasing 185 runs against DC. After the match, Delhi's head coach Ricky Ponting lauded them for the win and said he is proud of the team.
Kagiso Rabada bagged three wickets, while Marcus Stoinis and R Ashwin picked up two wickets each. Stoinis was effective with the bat too, and he added 39 runs.

"Super proud of our efforts with the ball and in the field, holding any team to 138 in Sharjah is hard to do. Great to see @SHetmyer do his thing with the bat and @MStoinis keeps going from strength to strength. @delhicapitals," Ponting tweeted.
Delhi Capitals are looking a strong contender for the IPL title this season. They are sitting at the top of the points table with five wins in six matches. Their next match is against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
