IPL 2020: Twitterverse makes memes on Buttler after Ashwin doesn't mankad Finch

IPL 2020: Twitterverse makes memes on Buttler after Ashwin doesn't mankad Finch

Aaron Finch was well outside the crease but R Ashwin let him go with a warning.

Spinner R Ashwin decided not to mankad Aaron Finch during the match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He made it clear that it was his first and last warning for all the batsmen in IPL 2020.

Finch had left the crease even before Ashwin delivered the ball, but the latter casually watched him without going for dismissal. After the incident, the Rajasthan Royals batsman, Jos Buttler, who was not even part of the match started trending on social media.

The cricket fans on Twitter made hilarious memes on Buttler, who as per them, may not be very happy with the different treatment to a different batsman.

Not to forget, it was Buttler who was mankaded last year by Ashwin, during a clash between Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals.

Before the tournament, Ashwin revealed he and Delhi's head coach Ricky Ponting had a chat on mankad and they both respect each other's stands. Now, it will be interesting to see if Ashwin lets go of another opportunity, or will he dismiss the batsman?
