Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their fifth match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on October 4.

Kings XI Punjab have only one win from four matches but their performances have been good as they lost two matches from winning position, so they need to do a bit better to finish on the right side of the result. Captain KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal will be the key in batting and they will hope the likes of Nicholas Pooran, Karun Nair, Maxwell and Sarfaraz Khan will come good.

In bowling, Sheldon Cottrell and Mohammad Shami are doing well with the new ball but they need a bowler who can do better in death overs so they may go for Chris Jordan in place of James Neesham.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings too is struggling as they also have one win from four matches and are on a three-match losing streak. Their batting have let them down as Shane Watson, Murali Vijay, Kedar Jadhav etc have been poor.

Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu and captain MS Dhoni have to step up and all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran and Dwayne Bravo too can play useful knocks and in bowling pacers need to control things with new ball and in middle overs Jadeja, Chawla and Bravo have to do the job.
