Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes Virat Kohli hasn't been able to crack the combination of captaincy and batting in T20 cricket. There has always been a comparison between Rohit Sharma and Kohli as a captain in shorter formats.

Vaughan shared his opinion on the two India cricket star cricketers. While Rohit's side Mumbai Indians has seen a lot of success in IPL, Virat's Royal Challengers Bangalore is still trying to find their best combination to take the field.

The Englishman picked Rohit as his pick to lead a T20 side. Calling him a smart leader, Vaughan said he always has a plan to come out of a tough situation.

“Incredible cricketers. Two greats of the game. Rohit Sharma for me is a magnificent T20 captain. He is a little bit calmer and a little bit cooler. He is very smart as a leader. I think in T20 cricket, I think he has got a better plan on how to play the game. I feel Virat is still trying to find his feet in how to play as a leader in T20 cricket,” Vaughan told Cricbuzz.

The first clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians was won by the former. However, it wasn't an easy job for them despite posting 201 runs on the board. The winner was decided in a super over.
