Amid various rumors and speculations around Suresh Raina’s sudden exit from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has on Tuesday (September 29) confirmed that there is no comeback for their batting mainstay and removed his name from their official website.

Raina stunned one and all with his decision to suddenly leave the CSK camp just before the start of the ongoing 13th edition of the IPL 2020 citing the ‘personal reasons’, which left a huge hole in their middle-order and that is visible in their standing in the tournament so far.

Ahead of the IPL 13, CSK star was gearing up for the tournament and also attended the team's one-week training camp in Chennai before flying to the United Arab Emirates with the three-time champions, but 13 COVID-19 positive cases in the CSK camp saw him return to India.

However, the latest development is suggesting something different as the CSK removed Raina’s name from the franchise’s official website from the team section – which made it clear that he will not be making a comeback to the CSK at least for ongoing IPL 2020.
