Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) cricketer Nicholas Pooran's jaw-dropping effort against Rajasthan Royals (RR) is being played by the fans on loop. Not only the cricket fans, but one of the greats of the game like Sachin Tendulkar was too tempted to praise Pooran his heart out.
Tendulkar posted a picture of Nicholas on Twitter and called it the best ever effort on the boundary he has ever seen. Coming from Tendulkar, who had started playing international cricket since he was 16, it was a huge compliment for Pooran.
Even, KXIP fielding coach, Jonty Rhodes praised Pooran and said if 'God of Cricket' Sachin is saying so, then there's no question about the work by Nicholas.

Rhodes, who is the fielding coach of KXIP, wrote, "When the #godofcricket @sachin_rt says it is, then there really is NO question about it being THE best save, EVER. Fantastic work by @nicholas_47 who inspired the rest of the @lionsdenkxip fielders to put on 1 of the best defensive fielding displays I have ever seen #proudcoach."
Sachin replied to Jonty and confirmed that the South African was best in his territory, which was the 30-yard-circle.
Talking about Pooran's catch, it was the 7th over when Sanju Samson lofted the leg-spinner M Ashwin to long-on where Pooran was placed. He leaped out of the boundary, caught and threw the ball back into the playing area, and everything was done mid-air which makes the effort eye-pleasing and stunning.
