The ongoing ninth match of the IPL 2020 between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) saw an amazing display of athleticism from KXIP’s Nicholas Pooran, who saved a sure six runs with an amazing dive on the boundary.
RR began their chase of KXIP’s 224-run target with the same brutality despite losing Jos Buttler for 4 runs. Skipper Steve Smith and Sanju Samson combined to take apart KXIP bowlers, especially their spinners.

One such delivery from M Ashwin was deposited towards the midwicket boundary by Sanju Samson and everyone including him thought that it was a six, only for Nicholas Pooran to show some amazing athleticism on the boundary.
He caught the ball mid-air, but was going to land outside the fence and hence threw the ball back into play in due time before touching the ground. He received unanimous applause from his teammates and a stunned Samson was robbed of a six.
