Rajasthan Royals' (RR) batsman Sanju Samson played another match-winning knock for his team to ensure they continue their unbeaten run in IPL 2020. He smashed 85 off 42 deliveries against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in a 224-run chase.
Although batting at Sharjah is easy, Samson still made sure that he doesn't throw away his wicket after the start. Despite failing to finish the game for his side, the youngster made sure they stay close to the asking rate.
After the match, Congress leader and MP from Kerala Shashi Tharoor praised Samson and recalled the time interaction with him. Tharoor had told Samson he could be the next 'MS Dhoni'.

Former India cricketer and politician Gautam Gambhir quoted Tharoor's tweet and said he doesn't need to be next anyone. Gambhir has always admired the talent of Samson.
"Sanju Samson doesn’t need to be next anyone. He will be ‘the’ Sanju Samson of Indian Cricket.", wrote Gambhir.
Rajasthan won the match by 4 wickets and it was Rahul Tewatia's outstanding hitting in the 18th over of the innings which brought them back. He smashed 5 sixes off Sheldon Cottrell's over to leave everyone shocked after a slow start.
