Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowler Deepak Chahar has reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus weeks before Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The speedster is kept in isolation like the other members of CSK touring party who have also tested positive.

A Twitter user spotted Chahar mingling with his CSK teammates without a mask on the flight while going to Dubai. He had posted a picture on Instagram and his cousin brother Rahul Chahar pointed it out in the comment section. But Deepak took it casually and said he was tested negative for the virus.

The picture is taken on the plane while the players were leaving for Dubai and Deepak wasn't following the social distancing rule.

"Where is your mask bro? Social distancing?", wrote Rahul. To which, Deepak replied confidently, "all have been tested negative bro 2 times and we don't wear masks with family".

It seems like the pacer didn't take the guidelines seriously and now it can cause issues for the whole franchise. There are chances that he might have spread it with his teammates considering how close they were with each other.

CSK are expected to start their practice camp from September 1, which is a little late than the other franchises.
