Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have landed in Dubai and after undergoing COVID-19 Tests on arrivals, made themselves comfortable in their bio-secure hotel rooms, where they will stay for six-days, quarantining from others.

Given that the IPL 2020 is happening finally, despite the roadblocks it faced from its initial start of March 29, is an example of what BCCI can do in order to give its fans much-needed relief in these times of COVID-19 pandemic.

CSK’s Vice-captain Suresh Raina, who is popularly known as ‘Chinna Thala’, gave his fans and all CSK followers a glimpse of his luxurious Dubai hotel room, where he will stay as per BCCI’s SOPs. He shared a video of his hotel room with the caption, “Dubai Life! Waking up to this skyline of Dubai”

The video showed Dubai’s skyline and a look at the hotel which was decked with his cricket gear and training essentials. The camera then pans to shots of bats, workout equipment, a conference table, and other essentials in the room.

The players will be tested on the first, third, and sixth days of the quarantine period and will be allowed to train only if they return negative results in all three tests. 

33-year-old Raina, who recently announced retirement from international cricket, is the second-highest overall run-getter in the tournament with 5368 runs from 193 matches with a best of 100* and 38 half-centuries. He averages 33.34 and has a strike rate of 137.14 and has hit 493 fours and 194 sixes in the league so far.
