Former Australia batsman Mike Hussey on Friday (July 3) announced his all-time IPL fearsome XI. His choices were based on the clinical performances displayed by cricketers in the T20 league over the years.
Just like any IPL playing XI, Hussey went with the composition of four overseas and seven Indians cricketers. He named CSK skipper MS Dhoni as the leader of the star-studded line-up, which includes David Warner, AB de Villiers, Andre Russell and Rashid Khan as four foreign players.

In a conversation with Chetan Narula on his YouTube channel, Hussey picked Rohit Sharma to open the innings alongside Warner. Virat Kohli was slotted to bat at No. 3 followed by his RCB teammate De Villiers and Dhoni.
Besides Russell, Hardik Pandya was another designated fast bowling all-rounder in the side.
When it comes to the bowling department, Hussey preferred Yuzvendra Chahal to accompany Rashid as a spinner while Bhuvenshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah form the pace attack.
He also named Kings XI Punjab's captain KL Rahul as the 12th man.
