Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma was closely following the IPL 2020 auction held in Kolkata on Thursday. The franchise did a good job at the auction, although they didn't have to worry much because of a strong squad already.
MI added a couple of big names in the side, Chris Lynn (2 crore) and Nathan Coulter-Nile (8 crore). Their other buys are, Saurabh Tiwary (50 lakh), Mohsin Khan (20 lakh), Digvijay Deshmukh (20 lakh), and Balwant Rai Singh (20 lakh).
Rohit, who was watching the auction, had a question in his mind. He took to Instagram where Mumbai Indians were streaming the press-conference of team owner Akash Ambani, and asked about his batting position.
“Where will Rohit Sharma bat?”, Mumbai Indians captain wrote in the comment.
Sharma has changed his batting position for MI on many occasions. The Indian cricketer has played in the middle order, as well as his strong position, opening spot.
