Virat Kohli has shared a heart-warming post for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. This comes after Kohli played a leading role in RCB’s second straight IPL title in IPL 2026.
Kohli made 675 runs in 16 games with one century and 5 fifties with a strike rate of 165.84 and best score of 105*. His strike rate was his fastest in his IPL career, and he also completed 9000 runs in the competition.
"Started the season with belief. Ended with back-to-back titles. This team lived every emotion together. The highs, the pressure, the hurdles, and the unwavering support. It feels extra special because… this place is HOME!" he wrote on X.
Fans, many of whom have witnessed him play in RCB colors throughout his IPL career, were deeply moved by his most recent "HOME" remark. The seasoned batter also talked about changing his style of play, even though he is nearing 38.
"Such is the demand of the sport today. You have these super young players pushing you all the time and asking you to change your game and up the ante. It's an exciting situation because it gives you something to improve on, something to work towards,” Kohli said after the match.
