India batter Virat Kohli was deeply unhappy with his dismissal in the recent third ODI against England. India won the match by 142 runs to pocket the 3-match series 3-0.
India had been asked to bat first after England captain Jos Buttler won the toss. After Rohit Sharma got out early, Virat Kohli (52) and Shubman Gill (112) added 116 runs for the second wicket.
However, Kohli’s promising innings was cut short when Adil Rashid has him caught behind by Phil Salt. Rashid deceived Kohli with a well-flighted delivery that turned sharply, catching the outside edge before being safely pouched by Salt.
Kohli knew he was out and immediately walked back to the pavilion.
After his dismissal, Kohli could be seen agitated and restless in the India dressing room and was seen having a chat with India captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit could be seen patting Kohli on the back and calming him down.

Kohli and Rohit will next be seen in action on February 20th when they take on Bangladesh in their first Group A match in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai.
