Mohammed Siraj's incredible catch to dismiss Shakib Al Hasan | BCCIIndia’s Mohammed Siraj left everyone stunned with a remarkable catch to dismiss Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan on Day 4 of the second Test at the Green Park Stadium, Kanpur on Monday (September 30).

During the 56th over of Bangladesh’s first innings, Shakib stepped out to play a big shot but was beaten in flight by R Ashwin’s tossed up delivery. His bottom hand came off and the lofted drive went up in the air.

Siraj, who was positioned in the circle at mid-off, kept his eyes on the ball while back-paddling. The ball looked to be going slightly over him but the Indian pacer leaped and bent backwards to grab it with his left hand.

Shakib (9) was the sixth Bangladeshi batter to get out in the first inning his dismissal reduced the visitors to 170/6.

While Bangladesh lost three wickets in the morning session, Mominul Haque held the one end firmly and notched up his 13th Test hundred.

The tourist went to the Lunch break with 205 runs on the board at the loss of six wickets. Mominul Haque (102*) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (6*) were the two unbeaten batters at the crease.
