India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant turned spinner for Shubman Gill, as the Rohit Sharma-led side prepped for the second and final Test of the series against Bangladesh. This match will be played in Kanpur from September 27 onwards.

Shubman Gill continued to hone his approach against spinners ahead of India's second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur, which begins on Friday.

During India's practice session ahead of the second Test at Green Park, Gill attempted cover drives while Rishabh Pant tried his hand at bowling spin deliveries.

"Pakdna Jaddu (Jadeja) bhai bhar bhar ke drive maar raha hoon (I will hit a lot of drives)," Gill said in a video posted by BCCI on X.

When Pant grabbed the ball, KL Rahul did not hesitate to remind the wicketkeeper batsman of his experience bowling in the Delhi Premier League.

Pant managed to defeat Gill once, and his reaction summed it up: "Kya beat kara hai yaar (What a way to beat the batter)."

Skipper Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, the spin combination of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav, as well as pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, were all present during the nets practice.
