The second day of the ongoing first Test between India and Bangladesh in Chennai saw Indian bowlers rattling the opposition's top order. Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep were at the top of their game before lunch with the ball.
Meanwhile, India resumed their innings on 339/6 and soon lost Ravindra Jadeja for 86 runs. Taskin Ahmed picked three wickets early in the morning, scalping R Ashwin for 113 and Akash Deep for 17 runs, including four boundaries.
India was bundled out for 376 runs. Hasan Mahmud completed his fifer, taking 5/83, while Taskin Ahmed took 3/55.
In response, Jasprit Bumrah dismissed opener Shadman Islam on the final ball of the first over itself. The ball was a beauty that pitched just outside off-stump, leading to Islam shouldering his arms to let the ball go. But the ball did enough to pitch and come in, hitting the off-stump.

After a few overs of Mohammed Siraj, Rohit Sharma brought on Akash Deep, and in the 9th over, the pacer gave India two consecutive wickets. The first to go was Zakir Hasan, who was bowled through the gap between his bat and pad.
The next ball saw Mominul Haque perishing the same way, but this time, the ball hit his pad and deflected onto the off-stump to give Akash Deep two in two.
