India skipper Rohit Sharma received a loud cheer from the crowd when he came out for toss in the first T20I against Afghanistan in Mohali.
This game marks his return to T20Is for the first time since November 2022. On his comeback to the shortest format, Rohit won the toss and opted to bowl first.
At the toss, Rohit Sharma also gave the fans a hilarious moment as he forgot the playing XI of the team.
When presenter/commentator Murali Karthik asked him about the playing XI, the Indian captain easily named Sanju Samson, Avesh Khan and Yashasvi Jaiswal but forgot the name of the fourth player, which was Kuldeep Yadav.
