India is scheduled to play three T20I matches against West Indies after the completion of the ODI series. The West Indies T20I series will begin from November 11.The BCCI selectors decided to rest Virat Kohli for the West Indies T20I series since he was named in the ODI squad for the whole series and Rohit Sharma has been handed the captaincy for the Windies series.
The big news is that MS Dhoni has not been picked for the three-match T20I series against Windies.
Shahbaz Nadeem gets his first taste of Indian team after being picked in the squad. Krunal Pandya gets into the T20I team, while Washington Sundar comes back after his Nidahas Trophy appearance.
Dinesh Karthik and Shreyas Iyer were also included with Umesh Yadav being named along with Khaleel Ahmed as the two fast bowlers to support Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah.
