After the first ODI between India and South Africa was washed out due to rains in Dharamshala; the journey moves on to the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

With the threat of the deadly coronavirus looming on the series, and the government issuing an advisory against a mass gathering of people; the remaining two ODIs of the series will be played behind closed doors. With this in mind, Team COC brings to you the Predicted Team India Playing XI for the second ODI against South Africa.

Not many changes are expected in the Indian team for this ODI, given that the first match was washed out. Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw are expected to open the innings, with Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul handling the batting duties of the middle order.

The one change that may be made for this match could be bringing Uttar Pradesh native Kuldeep Yadav in for Navdeep Saini, with the pitch expecting to take spin. Along with Kuldeep, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja are being touted to hold places in the playing XI for this match as well.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah are the preferable choices for pace bowling duties. The sheen of the match has been taken away from it in the form of no spectators being allowed in the stadium, but given that it is an international cricket encounter, expect the spirits to be high and competitiveness at the peak.
