Security concerns are rising as the number of pitch invaders increased in recent times. Players are adored in India, but it does ring alarms before something mishaps happen.
The latest incident occurred during the third Test between India and South Africa at Ranchi. Unlike the previous two times in the series, fan invaded the pitch for South Africa batsman Quinton de Kock. It only shows how the love for cricketers in India isn't restricted to Indian cricket only.
Fan ran towards De Kock and touched his feet, to which surprised South African cricketer gave a hug in response. It turned into a hilarious moment when the fan forgot his slipper way back to the stand.
De Kock picked up his slipper and then went back towards him to return it.
