
Openers Rohit Sharma (176) and Mayank Agarwal (215) have put India in strong position at the end of day two of first Test against South Africa in Visakhapatnam.
Earlier, India resumed batting on 202/0 and both the openers continued to score runs for fun and Mayank Agarwal brought up his maiden Test hundred. Rohit Sharma missed his double hundred and got out for 176 runs after sharing record 317 runs partnership with Mayank.
Mayank was rock solid and went on to convert his hundred into double and smashed 215 runs before getting out off Dean Elgar's bowling. Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Hanuma Vihari couldn't do much and India declared on 502/7 and at stumps South Africa were reeling at 39/3.
